Drop-in Counseling
If you cannot find a time that suits you, you are welcome to drop-in:
Monday and Tuesday 9:00-11:30.
Please notice, that when you show up without having an appointment, you must be prepared for a wait, and arrive no later than half an hour before drop-in closes, as the interview takes half an hour.
Language counseling
Before you can start a course, you have to meet with a language counselor. You can also consultate a language counselor if you have questions about your Danish course or are in doubt about what you can use it for. You must have an interview with a language counselor regardless of whether you want to attend FVU or start at the Danish Language Course.

At the reception, they can answer many questions. They can, among other things, help you find out whether you need an FVU screening or help you book an appointment for an interview about The Danish Language Course.
Facilities
VSK Ballerup has many facilities that support a learning environment. We both have a canteen, a study center and a library, which make it possible for you to spend your time efficiently. We collaborate with the local community, and we are happy to invite our partners to visit the school.
The study center
What students find difficult and easy is not the same. How you experience of learning Danish depends on your linguistic background. Therefore, it is important that you have the opportunity to supplement your learning with an individual focus. You have that opportunity in the study center. In the study center, you get help with the tasks you find difficult. Alternatively, you work independently on topics of your interest. We have a variety of books and other learning materials – both online and offline. Many students prepare for their module tests or exams in the study center. It pays off. The study center also offers professional career counseling.
Volunteers
We also have volunteers coming to the study center. To many students, the study center is the place they have their first authentic conversation in Danish with e.g. a volunteer. The volunteers find it interesting to talk to our students, and our students get an insight into life in Denmark.
